Best Game making software?
 
anyone?????? with a GUI please.

None of the variety you are probably thinking about. The best game making software is vim, gcc, and a good library like SDL. Then you can do the actual fun stuff, making the engine. The "Just Add Content" predone engines simply does not give me the as much sense of achievement as a programmer. You also have to work within the limitations of that engine, and you probably do not have the freedom to hack it.

firefox.. just type in ebgames.com.. then pick the game you want to make, then enter your credit card number and address.. it will take about 4 days to compile and then the game will be in your mailbox..
