Beginner at C++ requesting advice


Hi

Sorry if this is a stupid question.
I have picked up on playing with C++ (g++ and pentium builder installed) today complete beginner. I have been making beginners programs in cli I would like to be able to make/build forms. ( Still basic programs)
I have googled and QT comes up alot, Is this the most appropriate program to use and to start with, or any other sugestions.

I am a novice so dont shoot me down
