Beeping in bash


Hello,
I can beep normally in Bash using
Code:
echo $'/a'
but how do I do other system beeps, you know of different notes/lengths.

You need an seperate program to do that, like "beep". if it's not available in your distribution, get it from http://johnath.com/beep/
