Bash scripting: a very complex question about.........

Hi,......i have a question, especially for very bash experts..........i have made a desktop on my linux box with Xvesa Xserver + FLWM windows manager + Tkdesk file manager. Xvesa does not have any config file and to start it i simply type: "Xvesa -screen 800x600x16 &flwm -x &tkdesk".... This is possible writing a script, e.g. startx. Now, when i want to exit i can simply press Ctrl+Alt+Canc (or Ctrl+Alt+Space). However, on the flwm menù, there is a Exit choice but it simply shutdown flwm and not Xvesa. If i write a script to start Xvesa (e.g. startx), is it possible to call the exit wiht the "Exit" choice from "flwm menù"?
I hope you have understand...........
