bash script more than $9 possible?

Can bash script do this

./script.sh test1 test2 test3 test4 test5 test6 test7 test8 test9 test10 test11 test12

However, it could only output up to $9. I want to dump $1 to a file and the rest variables to a single file. I notice that it could only dump up to $9. The variable $2-19 is a sentence and I cannot put a quote just to make a sentence be a single variable.

Any workaround on this?

you can get up to 99 with {}
for example
echo $0 $1 $5 $7 $9 {$14} {$88}

Almost solve the problem. I've used $@ to make it a single line

It almost did the job but I need to trim the first word. If I run the script ./script.sh test1 test2 test3 test4 test5 test6 test7 test8 test9 test10 test11 test12 I need to trim the first word which was test1. I'm looking to awk. To print on awk, I must do awk '{print $1....$99}'.

Is it possible in awk not to print lets say $1 and then all variable will be printed?

You don't need awk for this.

Use the bash shift command. It will drop $1, make the old $2 be the new $1, the old $3 the new $2, and so on.
