Audio DSP on linux
I unfortunately purchased an nx9010 hp laptop, it's got to the the closest thing to sitting in a wind tunnel possible. This inspired me to attempt some dsp noise cancellation.
the laptop has an ali5451 audio codec.
what I need to do is take 1 sample from the audio codec , process it a bit and the output a responce sample. About 20k times a second It seems to me that all of the drivers are based on recording blocks of samples (dma).
Does anybody know if it is posible to directly read thesample register/ memory of the ali545, and howto do it.
Any help / Criticism would be appreciated
