Hello,

I have been playing around with java applets the last few days and im trying to run an applet to test mouse I/O which simply reports back to the applet the x, and y of the mouse, clicked mouse ect ect.

Normally when trying new things out i use eclipse since it has a huge amount of helpful tools. However, once i get the hang of things i like to use vim so that i dont get dependent on using IDE (I know its silly but).

In eclipse my applet runs fine. However, everytime i try to run it from the command line i get the following error.


Any pointers on what im doing wrong is appreciated

Sorry i rushed to the forum ><;;

I rushed through the compile and run and just assumed <-- danger, that it was the same as running a java application.

1- create html file that calls your applets_class.
2- appletviewer file:///path/to/your/html/file/some.html
