surely yes. but it is a simply compiler itself, right ?

what I need is exactly some kind of software I could program with it, with a compiler and IDE just like VC or BCB or Dev-C++ or anthing else.

by the way, the language it support should be C++.

thanx in advance~

There are many IDE's for Linux available, and this has just been discussed. So you might find what you're looking for here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...threadid=24597

Emacs or vim are good after some time in Linux/Unix, but not earlier

ftp.gnome.org Or any gnome mirror. It needs some extra libraries.

ALWAYS go to rpmfind.net to suss out your dependencies, whether you want RPM's or not, it's a damn useful site. certainly preferable to expect people here to do it for you...

kewp, i've seen many of your posts. if the occassion calls for it, you can be firm, not RUDE. however, i've seen you being incessantly abusive to many people's posts, even those that do not require it.

and the last comment to black in your reply is unjustified. MUST everybody know about rpmfind even if they've never heard of it?

temper your temper boy.
