ansci-number for stringtoken?


so i have some rawinput and need it to be 1-9, 0 or + - * or /.

how can i get the ascni-number for the token 1, i eman not the number but the stringtoken "1"?

so i can write:

if anbr >= ansci and anbr < ansci:
mystr = mystr + anbr
