about using tcsetpgrp


i am going to use tcsetpgrp to let the background process to be foreground
but there are 2 parameters in tcsetpgrp, and the first one is the file descriptor
so what should i put in there and how to get such a file descriptor?

Good question..
I am not sure, but I would try to get a file descriptor on the controlling terminal by calling something like: open("/dev/tty", ..).

Hope this helps a bit.
