Question about running c++ object file

I'm just a new learner of the c and c++ languages.
I compiled a .cpp file alright, but from the
terminal window I'm not sure as to how to execute
the binary file generated with .o extension.
So if someone could help me out,
that will be very much appreciated.

many thanx

object files cannot be executed. They are intermediate files that get processed by the linker.

Try looking at this:
