a question regardin fortran program

I have a fortran program which supose to operate on a specific file (E2a.trj), but when i run the program it finds the file but Abort with the following message:

do_us: off end of record
apparent state: unit 1 named E2a.trj
lately reading sequential unformatted external IO
abort.

does anyone know what might be the problem?

end of record means that you reached the end of the file, has it been corrupted? Do you have a backup copy?

Try to change the code to read just the first few entries, or even just one entry and see if it works.

Hi Tal did you ever resolve this issue. I have it now. 4 years later but no one has suggested anything. Please respond of you have a solution.
