Question [perl] package problem

How to verify that any package has been installed successfully. I tried to installed this libconvert-binary-c-perl. Because its a dependency of other package. But when tried to install the software which are depended on this. It gives me an error that

Code:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
liberror-perl is already the newest version.
libio-interface-perl is already the newest version.
liblist-moreutils-perl is already the newest version.
libpcap0.8-dev is already the newest version.
iproute is already the newest version.
psmisc is already the newest version.
psmisc set to manually installed.
Package libconvert-binary-c-perl is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source
E: Package libconvert-binary-c-perl has no installation candidate
Error running apt-get at regress/scripts/install_deps.pl line 165.
If you can help me I would be very thankful to you. I know its not related to programming question.

There is no package (or a repository with it is missing from your list of repositories).

Perform WEB search on the package, something like

libconvert-binary-c-perl Debian

or build the package yourself.
