5.1 Sound Problems (Mint Linux)


I have a 5.1 surround system plugged in my "Terratec Aureon Fun 5.1" soundcard but i only get 2.1 sound. What can I do?

consider adding an .asoundrc file as per www.alsa-project.org

no matter what i edit in that file, nothing changes, its just like that file isnt needed

pls post your contents and the full pathway file name.

if too big...pls consider using a file sharing site?
