For educational purposes, I need to install the Minix operating system on my laptop. The specs are:

Hardware:
1. CD Rom
2. Ethernet card (local network & internet access)

Software:
Currently running Linux.

Now Minix can be installed easily on any sytem that has a floppy drive. But my laptop has NO FLOPPY drive.

Can anyone help by telling me how I might be able to install minix on this laptop machine? - especially if you have gone through the whole ordeal yourself. I'm a beginner and so would appreciate really simple instructions if you can help.
