Do you have Image Magick installed? If so, simply open a terminal window and enter
Code:
display filename.jpg
Hope this helps some.

Is your OS one of those that supports getting and installing an application, say apt-get or one of those?

If so, try "getting" imagemagick.

I thought QNX was solely an RTOS? If QNX does support Linux-like commands, then you're best checking their documentation for their shell. Is this part of a product which you're experimenting on? If so, whatever shell is there is likely there because the developers needed a way to control features, upgrades, and so forth; and then that shell is likely limited to whatever commands they chose to make available. Further, if you have a command prompt and no display manager, then likely you cannot view a JPG file unless you're running some form of display manager. A few more details about how you know this is your OS and how you've come to interact with it in shell form may be helpful here.

...and the VERY FIRST HIT in Google for "how to open a jpg in qnx" is:
http://www.qnx.com/developers/docs/6...ide/files.html

Amazingly, it's from the QNX developer site, and has a list of applications to handle the different file types. Please, try to show SOME effort of your own, rather than asking people to look things up for you, or write scripts for you.
