what kind of book do you want? there are vast amounts of online books pertaining to "unix" in some way or other...

If you are a Windows user there is a a book called something like Linux for a Windows NT Administrator. It keeps most things simple and does not get into detail. There is a book called Running Linux that is published by Orielly, That is probually the best all around Linux book there is. It is a commandline book with the acception of the small X section.

I fogot all about RUTE, that is a good book too.
