Absinthe iOS 5.1.1 doesn't detect iPad 2

Absinthe iOS 5.1.1 for Linux doesn't detect my iPad when it says "Plug in your iDevice to begin." I have the most recent version of libimobiledevice (1.0.7). KDE detects the iPad when I plug it in; it thinks it's multimedia player.
