Problem while starting computer

Hi there, i'm somehow a newbie, and i have a problem while starting my computer (maybe after one of my latest apt-get dist-upgrade).
I turn on the computer and while booting its stops at 60% after saying:
Boot at 60%
Setting up guarddog firewall... done
Setting up X Server Socket directory /tmp/.X11-Unix... done
Setting up ICE Socket directory /tmp/.ICE-Unix... done

and it stops here. I have to shut the computer down and turn it on again. At this second startup it will load all the way.
Its always the same steps. Start - crash - start - Pc loads.

Hope you understand my problem.
Can someone help me? Thanks.
