I had a mild (IMO) disagreement with Cblue and eadwine and now my IP is blocked from mepislovers.org. The thread was "Safer apt-get" if you want to see it... unless she has trashed it or my post.

I only post this here as a comment, NOT a call to action. I know some of you have some 'history' with the Cblue and the Mepislovers 'personalities'.

I run Kanotix on my main machine most of the time now anyway ... but I still have a Mepis partition and a few boxen with Linux newibes here using it... so I keep up with it. Kanotix is not quite ready for rank newbies (which I'm not but others here are.)

How petty they are in mepislovers. Who has time for this? No big deal. This has become a better forum anyway, IMO, and Mepis is a really great distro no matter how Cblue and eadwine run the other (un-official) board.

Their loss (no ego here !!!! :-) )

We do not discuss decisions taken on other boards by their admins. At all. If they did it to us we would be offended and request the stop doing it, so we extend that courtesy to them. If you have an issue with a decision taken on any board, you should always take it up with them directly and off-line.
