Hi the last time I used Mepis full time was 2004.6 edition which I basically learnt linux on I loved it. After all this time I want to come come back I have, however become addicted to a few apps and just wanted to check on their availability in Mepis. There have nothing but good reviews for Mepis 7 seems to be solid and reliable.
Will I find it hard to get Tovid, Avidemux, Acidrip, Dvd::Rip, I assume (Xine, Gnucash, latest emacs) are all standard.

thanks guys/gals
PS does Envy work on Mepis ?
flebber,
I am running the 64-bit version in three computers at home, do not have a 32-bit version to check... Here is what I found checking Mepislovers...
I see a number of Envy questions about this working in SimplyMepis beta versions of 7, or not working at all... Ubuntu Dapper is listed among the supported operating systems on the webpage, Mepis isn't listed, but Debian is there with a note...
