Burn another CD at a slower speed, and see if it also gives an error when booting... JR |
First you might try this
You might boot it again and try and see the warning. Everyone is getting a warning concerning a part of the start up. It has nothing to do with the MD5sum.
You can recheck the MD5sum by starting to reburn the ISO file and highlighting the sum number at the bottom of the window and saving it, in K3b You can also recheck the ISO disk that you burned with K3b by starting to copy that disk to another. K3b will generate an MD5sum in each case. And then you can compare them. |
I boot it again to find out what the message is :
I saw because while booting I press Crtl ALT F1 to see all the message THe message is In correct checksum in tabler [OEMB} Maybe it means nothing I do not know what it means So if some do know it I hope I get a response I will also try to burn it again all the best |
I find the problem but not yet the solution .
The warning has some thing to do with ACPI IT says the checksum is 7 it had to be 2 But I do not know what it means Can any body gives me a hint ? all the best |
If the check sum you are talking about is the MD5sum....it should be a long string of numbers and letters. It has to match exactly.
The ACPI fault may be helped by using 'noacpi' during the boot as a cheat code. You do this at the bottom where the parameters for the boot are displayed. Just add noacpi (without the quotes) to the end of the boot argument. |
md5sum /dev/cdrom
And wait 5 minutes - compare with the md5sum from the website you downloaded from. |
I guess I'm strange....I always check the file I downloaded to the md5sum stated on the site I got it from. No later than as soon as it's finished downloading.
