Installed Mepis 3.4 RC1 last night and as usual it was very easy to do.
But unfortunately Firefox 1.5 would not open at all. I surfed using Konqueror with no problems.
Hey Mepis team, i guess you could call this a bug report.
Hopefully in RC2 this will be rectified (fixed -for those of you in Palm
Beach who could not punch out a chad in 2000) hee, hee, hee, heeee

It might be a good idea to check out the MEPIS Web site for places where you can report problems. Be a MEPIS contributer by reporting your findings during Alpha and Beta tests to either the developer lists or to Warren Woodford directly. Posting here might not get noticed, except by a few astute readers! ;-)
Some of the mirrors had poor RC! files at first. So make sure your download was good and checked with the MD5. I had to download twice before I ggot a good copy. THis is typed in firefox 1.5 from Mepis 3.4 RC1.
Right click on your Firefox icon and go to properties. Change the command from firefox to mozilla-firefox. It should run now, but you may want to downgrade to 1.0.7 anyway. The Deer Park version is for testing only and seems to have lots of bugs.
