thorn168, i have not tried mepis lite, i use 3.3.1, but to get it you need to visit the mepis store http://store.mepis.com/home.php then for the cheapest option select a one month trial subscription.

I think google confused you.
You searched Google for MEPIS Lite, and it suggested you to look for Memphis Lite, which did not give you appropriate results.
