Install Mepis bootloader to floppy disk

hi all...

i have been using Mandrake for a while now... thought of trying Mepis coz i liked it.... and its debian based... i am getting 3.3.1-1

i was wondering if there is an option to install the bootloader to a floppy instead of to mbr... during the install of mepis that is... this way i dont touch the windows bootloader... i know its possible in mdk and suse... can i do his with mepis?

just wanted to know before i dived in...

Install MEPIS GRUB to MEPIS /root partition

You can install MEPIS GRUB to MEPIS /root partition.
It's an option when installing MEPIS.
