How to make an interface use a certain dns address for it's name resolving?
 
Hi,

I use mepis 3.3 and would like to use the console instead it's gui.

Where can i add the option so my internet interface will use the dns i need?

what do you mean by internet interface? you can't tie a dns server down to a certain interface, as until dns has resolved a host to na ip, you've no idea which interface is going to be used (assuming you mean a nic etc...). set your dns servers in /etc/resolv.conf
