Golly, I would NEVER have guessed that.......Oh wait, the forum is named "LinuxQuestions", and the subforum is "Mepis". I see now that this means I can get help on Mepis Linux........I'll be darned......
Imagine coming home from work and finding a note on your front door saying: "Don't worry, I think it's fixed......" and all you know is that it's from your plumber, your car mechanic, or your doctor.....

I see you need help. Unfortunately this subforum is "Mepis" and in ONLY this thread you can ONLY get help with MEPIS. Please create your own thread so your questions get the attention they deserve. (ROTFL)
If I were you I would count to ten before popping off like that. No-one was being rude----there was only some good-natured levity in response to your original post.
Reporting this for closure---thus giving you the chance to make a fresh start.
oh shut up you dufaces quit being so stupid i am just tying to be helpful jesus christ you dont need to be sarcastic and rude about it jeese
That is not a response in line with netiquette or the LQ Rules, mutual respect being one of the pillars of constructive communication. If you really want to help wait for new threads in this forum and then help out, OK? Case and thread closed.
