Iam trying to locate on internet " Converting in Linux using ffmpeg and mencoder" Submitted by jtpratt on Mon,05/08/206
Just can not find the site
Any one know this document

The first link in Google contained the link to the article. Not sure why you had trouble finding it.

I am nearly the 1st to get "annoyed" when my time is wasted by someone who didn't search 1st. In fact, if I set policy listing your search links both in- & out- side LQ would be a requirement for starting a new thread. Of course LQ would be smaller & probably less useful then.

That being said, I don't think this search is as easy as it sounds: Using Google & entering
Converting in Linux using ffmpeg and mencoder
w/o any quotes, the answer was #38

Entering:
"Converting in Linux using ffmpeg and mencoder"
quotes the whole title, often an excellent technique, but in this case it yielded nothing.

The not-so-obvious "trick" that brought manageable results was to include the author's name:
Converting in Linux using ffmpeg and mencoder jtprat

notice there are no quotes.
& BTW, when I did this search the sought after answer was #6 & #7 of 7.

Hope this is helpful to folks trying to learn the art of Googling.

I did conduct a Google seach
Now have the artical
I am trying to convert AVI video files to MPEg to run on my DVD player Computer viewing no problem
