ymessenger...


in my mandrake linux ymessenger not working...it shows conneting but it will continue long time, no result.what should i do.....net conneting is okay...please...

hey

check out the gaim. its a messenger with differnt protocols including yahoo

gaim.sourceforge.net

and also change the name of ur distribution ,i think u have wrongly mentioned that as "chennai"

I have the same problem with GAIM..... none of the messengers will connect.... and I also am having problems with M10.1 having the worlds slowest internet connection. It takes forever to connect to a site, and manytimes never does.

For AOL, YM and MSN, and none are working. I cannot get them to work in any distro.... SSH, which is another issue, doesn't work as well. (SSH works from inside the LAN but not from outside.

for ssh check out ur firewall if any??

I do not have my FW running.....so I am not sure what the issues are there
