While I have KDE working after a fashion, there is tons of stuff that doesn't work. For exampel, the config panel will not run. There are no error messages but it just never opens the panel. The only errors I can find are in .xsession-errors so I am guessing that those are the crux of the problem. However, this is a vanilla install of Mandrake 9.2 so what ever these errors mean must be the result of a faulty install. Here is the contents of that file:
Code:
startkde: Starting up...
kbuildsycoca running...
mcop warning: user defined signal handler found for SIG_PIPE, overriding

It appears that a bunch of stuff is missing or perhaps ther eis a path problem. Eitherway can someone help me fix this? TIA.
