X includes?

When I try compiling programs, I get an error saying it can't find the X includes. What is missing? I have tried installing all of the devel packages, but nothing seems to work.

TIA!
Fred

You are probably compiling for XFree but Mandrake has switched over to Xorg.

There are a set of developement libs available as an RPM from the URPMI repositories.

Set up your sources and check the "developement" tree for the missing RPMs.

You need to install your kernel source. Open a console window and type: su <press enter> <input root password> <press enter> now type: urpmi kernel-source <press enter>. When installation has finished type: exit <press enter> to return to normal user mode. That should take care of your X-includes issues.

Oops I've just seen the date on this one, probably resolved already!!

X includes is definitelt about the xserver. You need the xorg devel packages as suggsted above.
