wireless unusual problem

Not sure if this is a bug report or a problem just with one particular wireless pci card The rtlink RT2500.

I am using the 10.2 Beta 2 x86_64 (amd64) and the same happens on beta 1, but this is a new card and so do not know if it occurs in earlier versions.

The driver is found under manual wireless and loads and boots OK connects to the net.

After 10 minutes the connection disappears and when I checked with the access point using the ip address of the access point -assuming I had just lost dns- that was not seen either.

Anyone, come across this problem and knows what is happening.

Does this happen when you use wireless in a stable release of Mandrake?
