wireless is turning off
what can I do, I have Mandriva 2010.2 and wireless is turning off when screen saver comes on or sometimes just whenever it wants, is there an option to keep it always on?

when the screensaver coming?? seems like system going into idle state.. chk ur power saving options..

I know in windows it is the problem, but I cant find anything about wireless here

Maybe it’s the wireless router going flaky on you. I personally swear by a wired connection, and I frequently swear at the wireless connection I’m stuck with here in this apartment building. I have the same problem as you, only not triggered by the screensaver. Wired connections never gave me this sort of grief. I’ll be moving Friday of next week, and I intend to go wired for my next place. I hate wireless!

You got to check you network settings. Some thing called " Disconnect network when idle" might have set.

I think with wol doesn't it keep network active.
