Why did Mandrake 9.2 Remove "Run" command?
Guys, why did Mandrake 9.2 remove the "run" program option in KDE? This was very beneficial in 9.1! Also, is their a source file that can add this function back?

Who wants to run when you can drive? lol
I don't know the answer to your question. :( But if I do upgrade to 9.2, I definitely do want the RUN command because use it often in 9.1 |
I'm not sure why they choose to remove it... but this is Linux, so if you want something... well, its yours!
To get the run applet in your start panel 1. right-click on the panel 2. Add --> Applet --> Application Launcher To get the run command in your panel menu 1. right-click on the panel 2. Configure Panel 3. Select "Layout" and the "Menus" tab 4. Check the box labelled "Show run command" |
Thanks bigVoice that worked like a charm! I'm able to run SuperKaramba again now. Also, I kinda like having the run option in my dock!
