I'm not sure if the download version of Mandrake offers any of these.
However, OpenOffice is included. Codeweaver and Java are not included on the download version, but Java is installed on the commercial version, at least that's what I heard ;^)

Java, realplayer, and flash can be manually installed, though.

OpenOffice is included. StarOffice is the Pay version. As for Java you'll need to install that one. And for the codeweavers you can get the free 30 day version at the codweavers download site otherwise you'll have to pay.

Now this is for the download Mandrake version of the distro. You'll have to look up what you get if you pay for it at the Mandrake site.

i have tried to get detailed info from the mandrake site, but it seems no easy to get to.i thought the more expensive versions might have what i want. from what i remember, one of the versions of suse offers star office 6 and the whole thing is more intgrated into the system ,cutting the time for the star office to come up shorter. apparently it gets partially started in the background as the computer is booted up. my problem is that open office is not good enough for writing math exam papers and exam papers from macrosoft do not show properly. star office opens my exam papers with equations very nicely and i can even edit them. i am trying to totally move away, as much as possible, from windows. meantime, i want to be able to use my math documents and make use of all the windows software that paid so much money for. in this regard both star office and codeweaver help.

Hi,

You need the prosuite version for java and codeweavers. Right now they don't have any with staroffice 7, but as mentioned above, open office is in all of the releases. Codeweavers is in all but the dowload edition.

Check out the details at:
