Where can I find .xinitrc in Mandrake 10, trying to get XPde running at start up.

I want to install XPde on my computer. But in order for me to get it to start up at boot time, i need to edit my .xinitrc, which supposedly is in my home folder, which isnt. Even looking in /etc/X11/ I couldn't find the file, in which to make a new one for my user accounts, says the Readme that comes with XPde. Where can I find this file, or is that Mandrake doesn't have it for some reason? Thanx in advanced.

Mandrake doesn't have it, but will use it if you create it, for example

echo exec startkde >.xinitrc
chmod u+x .xinitrc

Just use the command you want to use instead of 'exec startkde' and you should be ok.
