what is the Difference between i586 and x86_64 version of mandriva


hi my friends:

Im new at this, so Im trying to download a version of mandriva but it ask me to choose one version, and I do not know what the right version for my pc is... I want u to help me to choose the right one.

my pc commom:


procesor intel celeron at 1.7 GHZ

memo Ram 256 ddr pc2700

cd rom
cd writer

HD 80GB samsung at 7200 rpm

what is the right version for me, please helpme with this.

x86_64 is the 64bit version of Mandriva. You should go for the i586 version.
