What about PLF for 2007 version ?
Hello there
I installed my 2007 version (based on KDE One, not the free version), and came across a big surprise, the PLF mirrors weren't up to date.
They only proposed data for 2007 community (that suited me, after all MDV2007 kde One is a community version), and they only provided two links, one for Main and one for Contrib.
No Updates, no non-free, no nothing else.
Weird.
I was so happy to hear a few times ago that PLF provided libdvdcss in a package
(RPMs are good, I was funnily surprised to see that the KDE One version didn't even include Make or gcc, while trying to compile libdvdcss )
Would you have other alternative links perhaps, or should we wait ?
I guess the reply is "we must wait", but who knows, maybe...

There are 2007.0 plf sources and I use them here on my 2007.0 free installation. I had to add them manually to my sources list in media manager. The path to the 2007.0 source will be identical to that used for 2006.0 with the obvious exception that the '2006.0' directory is changed to '2007.0'.
Instead of using '.../plf.zarb.org/mandriva/non-free/2006.0/i586' for the non-free source, you will use '.../plf.zarb.org/mandriva/non-free/2007.0/i586', and '.../plf.zarb.org/mandriva/free/2006.0/i586' will be changed to '.../plf.zarb.org/mandriva/free/2007.0/i586.

Remember you do not need libdvdcss with the new LinnDVD that comes with the non-free versions. Just put the dvd in and it will play!

BTW, I have a problem : easyurpmi.zarb.org as well as zarb.org itself has been unreachable since the past week.
So, no PLF so far, I can't get the precious lines to enter (and edit with 2006->2007) in console.
Would someone manage to access easyurpmi, or have the complete console commands in memory, by chance ?

Sorry i must change the original quote in this forum, no url.
I don't think so, because there are no backports and no contrib updates.
And plf has now also backports.
I think easyurpmi have something to do to put in all the trees.
look at the twiki of mandriva.
Sorry i can't post the url.
I think smarturpmi shows all.
Sorry i can't post the url, bad forum
This is the end of my post at this forum, i reply to a post and this bad forum told me that i can't post urls. What a desaster i don't post a url but in the reply is a url.
And now must i make a censorship in the original quote. I don't think that this is good to change the original in the reply.
Regards and bye, bye
Dieter
