Webcam dosen't work after kernel update
 

I have a webcam made by Kensington(?). It worked fine using se401 module under Mandrake 9.2 with kernel 2.4.22. I updated the kernel to 2.6.1 and the webcam dosen't work any more. With this webcam videodev and se401 modules are necessary to work. So I loaded the two modules under 2.6.1 kernel but it still dosen't work although the modules are loaded without problem. As se401 module is loaded /dev/v4l/video0 device is supposed to be created but it is not. Does any body have an idea what is wrong ?
