Video Driver Issue?

First Time Posting Here:

Just installed Mandiva 7.0 on my Dell 700M and am liking it so far. Only real issue is that when watching videos on any of the viedoe players (Kaffeine, MPlayer, etc) the video looks like I am watching through a screen. Never experienced this before with PCLinuxOS on the same laptop, so I am wondering if it's a video driver issues?

Hello,

I don't fully understand what watching through a screen means in this case; are the video images dimmer, brighter, larger? Maybe the screen resolution is not optimal? Please be more specific and descriptive.

Try going into the options for your player and switching deinterlacing either on or off.
