Hey !

Hmm I think you have to put the pen into the computer at boot time ...
When Linux is up try to do this :

- right mouse klick on your desktop
- create new
- device
- there is now an option where you can add a new partion or harddisk
- then give it a name and select the right device

don't know if the menu is the same as in german but it should be ...

Good Luck !

Don't understand, should work anyway !!

I have one and is detected as soon as it is pluged.

If you have troubles, you can :

create a new directory for your device : mkdir /mnt/"device" ( device can be anything : usbpen, usbstorage, minidisk, the brand of you pen...)

mount the device : mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/device

Now you can use Konqueror to open your recorded files, when finished just umount device.

Leave the USB key plugged in before you boot the computer and harddrake should automatically detect and set it up. You should then have a folder called /mnt/removeable/ or /mnt/win_c2/ which you can mount by typing

mount -t msdos /dev/sda1 /mnt/removeable

You may need to be root to do this. If that works, you can then edit your /etc/fstab file so that any user can mount/unmount the drive.

Iuri, post the contents of your /etc/fstab file here and we'll see what we can do.

/mnt/removable is probably your usb pen !!

Open Konqueror look at /mnt/removable and see is something is coming out.

to get automount, change noauto to automount in fstab ( as root )
