Exclamation URGENT (server down) : All account disabled ! (and also root)

Hi there,

My problem is the following :
- my Linux box (Mandriva 10.2) is running without pb for 6 month (so I don't need to log on it during this time),
- yesterday a file system full pb occured, and I try to log with ssh, with the console and with WebMin. But all account and also the root account has been disabled !

1. How can I log in in root the reactivate the accounts ?
2. how can I desactivate this feature (I never want my account disabled) ?

P.S : when login with ssh, the server asks me to change the password. But the ssh connection is closes before I succeed to change the password.

I cannot access the Linux partitions in a window environnement.

Thank's for help.

Boot off the Mandriva install CD, go into rescue mode, mount the root partition and delete some unnecessary files (overgrown log files perhaps?). You can also edit the /etc/shadow file to reset passwords while you're there.
