Unusual question MDK 10.0 and CD #3

I recently did a full install of MDK 10.0 but had a problem with CD #3. Install went OK except CD #3 was not recognized so nothing from that CD was installed. Afterwards I tried to do an install of those programs that I could remember (Evolution, WindowMaker, Gnome, etc) but to no avail. The company that I got the CD's from is sending me a replacement CD #3. Is there anything critical on the CD that would necessitate going thru the install process again? I notice, for example, my screensaver does not totally work, i.e., I am unable to Setup for it to use my slides. I assume this is connected with the CD #3. Thanks in advance for the help.
