hi, just add a dummy acct in my box and use gnome heheh
what a ride, gnome is ALOT faster then kde3

but here's the problem, some stuff i found on kde doesn't show on gnome (or just i don't know where they are hiding)

oh my box, i'm running Chinese big5 as my main language, i'd like to have my dummy acct run in english.

i know i can change in under "Look and Feel" in kde, but i can't find that under gnome.

the so-call "Look and Feel" in gnome, don't have option allow me to change language setting....

would ya please show me if there's a map/guide that tells me {this in kde will be that in gnome} kindda thing?

well, the price for higher speed is a (imho not so big) loss in flexibility...
AFAIK, you can't change language at runtime (at least won't affect running apps)
If you boot to console, use 'locale' before startx.
If you use xdm or gdm, there's a 'language' menu on login screen.

Note kde and gnome use different config files when they need to, so you don't need to use a dummy account, use your own. You'll have it already half-configured (including languagem i think)
