trying to update kernel using mandrake 10


Hello, I am new to linux and am trying to get my wireless up and running using ndiswrapper however first thing I need to do is update my kernel source, is there an rpm for this? Could someone please ive me detailed instructions or direct me to some on how to go about updating the kernel, thanks.

System-->Configuration-->Packaging-->Install Software then type kernel and see if there is a newer one listed in there, if yes then select it and away you go.

If not then use the link in my signature and follow the instructions then try again.

If you want to know what kernel version you have just type: uname -r
