1. How do I add applications that I installed to kde? For instance, I installed mozilla and I want a link to it to display when I click "start-->webbrowsers". Right now it shows konquer only, I want it to show Konquer and mozilla.
2. Also, if I drag and drop my cd mount points to my taskbar, and then remove them from the desktop will they still work?
3. Also, Urpmi asks for my dvd when I try to install something, seems to me that if the database is updated from the time I created the dvd that I would want the newest version...anyway...I asked about this in another thread and they told me to simply mount the dvd and then point rpm drake to it. How do I accomplish this?
Distribution: Mac OS X Leopard 10.6.2, Windows 2003 Server/Vista/7/XP/2000/NT/98, Ubuntux64, CentOS4.8/5.4

1) There are several ways to configure the menu, but one easy way and graphical is to go to Mandrake Control Center --> System and check out the menus. Or, "start" --> system --> kde --> menu options, or something like that. (I'm at home using Windows XP at the moment)
2) Your mount points will still work if you drag them somewhere else. Those are just short cuts on your desktop
3) I'm not sure what you're saying, but I take it you DON'T want Mandrake to point to the DVD since you have your URPMI updated. Have you ran the easy URPMI website and configured your URPMI sources? If so, then go into your Mandrake Control Center --> Software --> media. Uncheck the one that points to your DVD drive. It won' t ask you for it again.
I did do the urpmi thing, I went to the site selected my choices, ran a Konsole pasted the info in. It took awhile and then was done, with no errors reported. I unchecked the dvd and it still asks for it. Infact it automatically ejects the drive and says give me.

Did you type this before adding your URPMI sources:
urpmi.removemedia -a
?
If not, try typing that first, THEN, go ahead and copy/paste your URPMI mirror sources again.
