Unhappy Terminal Server/Client difficulties

I have been trying to use the terminal server/client in Mandr* 10.1 and keep having a display problem. I can get the appropriate TFTP image to come over ethernet to my thin client, a short RAMdisk message is given, and then,

´You passed an undefined mode number. Jump to 80x25´

and my client hangs. I have tried looking in every configuration file that I could and cannot get past this. Does anyone know of the particular files that a more appropriate config could be made through? I am using a couple of Dells that should be adequately equipped for this but do not have the exact same video card

I would really appreciate any input from someone who is successfully using this on Mandr* (or otherwise) as I am finding it difficult to attain the specific support I require. Does anyone know what the absolute LIMIT as far as memory goes as a requirement for thin clients (I am using Mandrake 10.1, but am also interested in this as far as other platforms are concerned)

BTW my thin client is a Pentium overdrive with 32Mb

Ok, I have made a little

progress.... I figured out that that the problem I was having was due to the fact that I was not using Linux-Enterprise edition kernel server side and Linux-Boot edition kernel client side, however still no easily functioning client side GUI.

Also, as hard as I try, I cannot get my client to boot up without completely turning OFF my [shorewall] firewall on the server side of things, which is not something I am completely comfortable with doing. No where in any faqs I have looked at is a port number listed that I can open on my firewall that allows the complete etherboot procedure to come across (I started by opening UDP/177 TCP/6000 which XDMCP supposedly needs, then tried opening both sides from 67-69, and 1110, all to no avail).

If ANYONE out there has had ANY success in doing this, ESPECIALLY in conjunction with a firewall, please let me know what ports you had to open up/noticed being used in conjunction with this service. Thank you
