Taskbar Disappears on KDE 3.4 after additional upgrades [solved]
Well, I updgraded to 3.4 last week sometime. Still having a few issues, so I decided to see if there were any new updates. I did urpmi.update -a. I have Thacs, and I did a urpmi kdebase. It fould a few packages, downloaded and installed them. I then restarted x. When I did this everything came up fine. But when I click the little star on my taskbar, it disappears and I can't get it back.
Any suggestions? Thanks. |
Let me clarify some of this.
I can actually click on my applets, Desktop access, and they all work just fine. It happens when I click the Star/K-Menu. When I do this, the whole taskbar disappears. I can ALT-F2 and type "kicker" and it comes right up, but the same thing happens when I click the K-Menu button. |
Weird Also happens when I right click on Taksbar>Add to Panel>and just graze my mouse over application. No over the first one Applet, but over the second one Application.

If you are using thac's rpms, you may find some problems. Check this thread for a long discussion about it.

I have read that thread last week. And any updates to it. I am way past any of the problems in that thread. This happens to be something a little unique.
