swap partition corrupted

Hello,

I am on Mandriva 2008.1

My swap partition is corrupted.

I am not able to fully boot.

How can I set it right ?

I'd download a live CD like gparted (see www.distrowatch.com) and reformat it as a swap partition.

Another option is, edit the boot parameters from Grub and add "single" without the quotes to enter single user mode. Then type: mkswap /dev/xxx (replace xxx with your swap disk, to get the swap disk type fdisk -l).
