su asks root pass but only can click enter !?

So the problem is when I'm using $ su for something he asks root password but my keyboard only allows click [enter] nothing else what a problem !? can someone plz help me !? I'm new in linux

when su asks for your password, it will hide whatever you type, so your password can't be read by anybody nearby. Just type your password, and hit enter. If you think you've made a typo, press Backspace enough times to be sure you've deleted whatever characters you entered, and start over.
